It's been awhile since I've updated everyone on my journal. Sorry it's been so hectic lately ....well, actually for the last year! Between trying to finish my second book and find another studio, it's filled my schedule. I am trying to work on a 2005 Christmas album and look at working on my 3rd compilation. Happy 4th of July to everyone!

Just got back from California. What beautiful weather and how nice not to wear ski pants and three layers of jackets! I tried to go and visit a studio but there just doesn't seem to be enough time. Between finshing book corrections and figuring out the last of my songs, I am being spun around and around. Don't get me wrong though....I do love it!

I know it's been almost a month since I've updated everyone on things. Well, the CD sales are coming along great and so is the book. Speaking of books, I am already a week behind in getting the last draft in. It's been so hectic!I am pretty sure I'll make it in time for the Christmas season but we will see.

As for the music, I think when the album is done, I will be pretty proud! I will need a bit of help so when I head back to California, I will most likely get the assistance of a producer in the South Bay. Well, it's onward to Friday!!

I've been working with my P.R. angel to help re-do the website again for the millionth time! I know it's had so many facelifts in the last few weeks but there was always something about it I didn't like (sorry Nick!). Well, we are finally getting somewhere and I think this time, this look will stick...for now!

I am rushing around trying to finish up the last of my book editing and last minute interviews. My laptop decided to make funny noises so I ended up reformatting the entire system and downgrade the operating system. There's just something about XP that I am still not sure of so back to Win 98se for now. Maybe I'll give it a try again in the future - distant future. I guess as the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I ended up trying to upgrade and fix something that was working just fine (sigh). Anyway, I lost three days in the process so there goes my deadline!

As for the music, it's chugging along. I wanted to do some Christmas songs in the process, but with everything going on, there just wasn't any more time. I am trying to make all my deadlines but something always makes me miss my mark. ;-)

I decided to buy a dedicated system just for my music and leave the laptop for emails and other things. I love buying new presents for myself! Afterall, it's almost Christmas!

Well, today seemed to be extremely busy but productive...got the homepage in order and still need to do the rest...ARRGGHHH!! Thank goodness for my P.R. director who can fill in all the rest at least!
The music is coming along but still fighting the deadline for the book. More to follow!
