This again has been a nice and busy month! Starting a CD/DVD Duplicator business and internet gift registry business has been keeping all of us occupied. We can now copy our audio discs at blazing speeds and no more sitting in front of my PC.
We ended July with hot muggy weather which left us little to do but sit in our cool apartment and relax. I guess this is better than spending the days watching the rain fall and the wind blow over the signs on the street! Belgium is famous for it’s cloudy and rainy weather. As soon as the sun hits, everyone is outside drinking latte’s, having lunch, and/or having a nice glass of wine. I guess I better enjoy the weather while it lasts!
I think I have found a music studio which fits all my criteria and speaks English! It’s my fault for studying German instead of French. If I had known in the 12th grade I would be living in Belgium, I would have! I swear!
I am plugging away on the DISV II (Dating in Silicon Valley II) book and still taking more interviews.

---Internet
Radio Stations---
Take advantage of internet radio music by going to the following links :

As some of you may know, many of the internet radio stations were pulled off the air due to copyright and payment issues to the artist. Most were playing music without paying royalties and the music industry giants stepped in. They ended up pulling most radio stations with the exception of on-air stations that were paying royalties. The music industry has basically lost billions in illegal MP3 downloads and they are trying to find loopholes to get payment. There is not much anyone can do to stop illegal downloads of music but a start would be to lower costs of albums and at times offer some free MP3’s. With the MP3.COM radio, all music comes from artists around the world who offer their music at no cost and free to download. So in this spirit, enjoy!

---New Music---
A new keyboard has been located! Germany seems to be the place to find great second-hand keyboards. I know many of you are wondering when new music will be released – writing music does take time and finding the right person to record with also. I hope the end result will be something everyone likes.
---Publishing Update---
All authors signed to the publisher GreatUnpublished have a new distribution chain called Alibris. All transfers and updates of books to this website will be completed in September of 2002. This not only means distribution on www.booksurge.com, but www.alibris.com, and registration in Bowkers Books in Print (www.booksinprint.com), one of the largest book databases on the market.
As for DISV II, there will be a new publisher. Watch in future newsletters for which company was selected and how their services match up.
---Book Update---
It’s been a busy month taking interviews and transcribing
for DISV II. Nothing new to report as
